Crafted from heavy-duty iron is this round concave tawa with a black wooden handle and hanging ring, ideal for you to prepare/cook/heat up foods i.e. dosa, crepes, pancakes, and many indian flatbreads i.e. chapati, roti and paratha.

GUIDANCE & PREPARATION - This iron tawa is entirely handmade from traditional pure iron, therefore the surface will not be completely smooth & may contain marks/bumps. To attain optimum use of this iron tawa, it should be prepared & seasoned before use. The surface does have an oil coating to protect the material as it is pure iron. Following the preparation tips, this oil coating will get removed and it will be ready to use.

CONCAVE TAWA – Traditional tawa moulded into a concave shape, where it has a slightly deep centre to allow you to cook in many different ways. Combination of both features shall quickly spread heat and circulate evenly, so that flatbreads are always cooked all the way round, but you can also add small quantity oil to the centre and cook classic indian street tawa foods i.e. pulao, pau bhaji, chicken & more.
